Facebook is Testing a New ‘Postcard’ Feature

Facebook is Testing a New Feature On Their SiteAs we all know, Facebook is the leading social media platform used by over 900 million people. The popularity of this site has grown exponentially, long ago surpassing its competitor MySpace in April of 2008.

Facebook is continually creating new applications on their site. Currently they are testing a new feature called “Mail a Postcard” that will allow its users to create printed postcards from their photos. It will be a great way to personalize a photo to show your loved ones that you care.

If you are part of this new feature testing, you will have the words “Mail Postcard” on the photo that you are viewing. Facebook will make it very simple for you to turn your photo into a postcard. Once the postcard is created, it will look very similar to a traditional postcard. The front will have the photo, and on the back you can add a special note.  Because this service is not powered by Facebook, there will be a minimal fee for this application.

Facebook will continue to develop new and innovative features for their site and at CyberDesign we will continue to bring you the latest news and trends from all of the popular social media platforms.
